Former wrestler Smith Hart has died from cancer, according to TMZ.

The 68-year-old was the older of 12 members of the Hart family, which notably included Bret and Owen Hart.

Hart wrestled since the 1970s and appeared in various organizations, mainly in Canada with Stampede Wrestling.

He also made several appearances on WWE, including as a helper to his Hall of Fame brother, Bret. He played a role in the WrestleMania XXVI match against Vince McMahon in 2010.

Last month, he posted a video made to commemorate his life:

His niece, Natalya, remains involved in WWE to continue the Hart family legacy.
