The Cincinnati Bengals' offensive firepower apparently travels well.

Cincinnati wasted no time setting the offensive tone during Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons at BernabƩu Stadium in Madrid, Spain, and took a 24-10 lead into halftime thanks in large part to Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

Burrow marched the Bengals on long touchdown drives in each of their first three possessions and a field goal on their fourth, capping the first one with a 47-yard strike to Chase, finishing the second one with his own rushing touchdown on a sneak play and then finding Higgins for a four-yard score on the third one.

While Higgins worked underneath routes on most of his early involvement, the Falcons secondary looked lost trying to prevent Chase from finding space downfield.Ā

The star receiver eclipsed the century mark in yardage well before halftime as he blew by press coverage, came down with contested catches, made an incredible reception along the sidelines and put on an absolute show.

Offense has never been the issue in Cincinnati, though.

Defense has been at times, and it was Sunday as well when the Falcons scored the game's first touchdown when Michael Penix Jr. found Charlie Woerner for a score after star running back Bijan Robinson did much of the heavy lifting yardage wise.

Robinson also got involved in the aerial attack, although the Bengals defense improved in the second quarter after giving up 10 points in the first.

Even a mediocre defense should be enough for the Bengals to remain on the short list of Super Bowl contenders given all the offensive firepower they bring to the table, and that was on full display throughout the first half of Sunday's contest.
