WWE Crown Jewel Predictions 🔮

Most Likely Turns at Crown Jewel 😲
WWE Hall of Famer and AAA general manager Rey Mysterio revealed Friday that a unique match will be part of the Survivor Series card in Houston on Nov. 28.
Appearing on What's Your Story? With Stephanie McMahon (h/t WrestlePurists), Mysterio announced that the traditional, five-on-five elimination match concept is returning for Survivor Series 2026:
Mysterio noted that he spoke with Raw general manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis, and they came to an agreement to hold a Team USA vs. Team Mexico five-on-five elimination bout at Survivor Series.
The match participants have yet to be announced, but it seems likely that Penta, Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee will be part of Team Mexico given how heavily they have been featured on WWE programming in recent weeks and months.
Since 2022, Survivor Series has been paired with the WarGames tagline, and every Survivor Series over that stretch has been headlined by WarGames matches.
An unfortunate side effect of WarGames has been the extinction of the traditional elimination match, which is the foundation Survivor Series was built upon.
In 1987, Survivor Series became WWE's second annual pay-per-view event, following in the footsteps of WrestleMania.
Five-on-five elimination matches made up the entirety of Survivor Series for many years, and they continued to be part of the show for decades, even as other types of matches were added.
A full Survivor Series card of only five-on-five elimination matches may never come to fruition again, but keeping the tradition alive by having at least one such match is something that figures to appeal to current and old-school fans alike.
Reported Details on Montana's Main Roster Call-Up
Cruz Montana shocked the WWE Universe during Monday night's episode of Raw by attacking Bloodline leader Roman Reigns and joining 946.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Felix Upton of Ringside News), Montana joining 946 was a "late decision," and "nobody in NXT was aware of it" ahead of time.
Meltzer did not indicate if those not in the know included NXT head Shawn Michaels, but he did note that Michaels "absolutely had plans going forward with Montana as a top babyface" before his call-up.
A match between Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa was ruled a no-contest when 946 members interfered, leading to The Bloodline backing up Sikoa and brawling 946.
In the midst of the chaos, a masked man took out Reigns, and he revealed himself to be Montana.
It was an unexpected moment since Montana had only recently debuted in NXT and was among the brand's top babyfaces, feuding with DarkState's Dion Lennox.
On Wednesday night's episode of NXT, two days after his main roster debut, Montana worked a match as a babyface against Lennox, and 946 also got a face reaction when it showed up to even the odds against DarkState.
Montana will be a heel going forward on the main roster, though, and all signs point toward him being part of 946's team in a likely WarGames match against The Bloodline at Survivor Series later this month.
Chandler Reportedly Considered for Future WWE Match
UFC star Michael Chandler reportedly could be considered for additional WWE appearances and even a match in the future.
On Wednesday's episode of NXT, Chandler served as the special guest referee for the Cruz Montana vs. Dion Lennox unsanctioned match since NXT general manager Robert Stone wanted someone who could keep things in order.
According to False Finish, there have been "discussions" about Chandler having a WWE match at some point.
Chandler's WWE involvement has been rumored for quite some time, as False Finish previously reported in August that he was spotted at the WWE Performance Center.
The 40-year-old Chandler was a three-time Bellator lightweight champion, and he later became a contender for the UFC lightweight title.
While Chandler is technically still an active fighter, he has lost each of his past four fights and six of his last seven.
That suggests it could be time for Chandler to explore other opportunities, and given his combat sports background and big personality, a foray into WWE would make a lot of sense.
