LeBron James Wishes Chris Paul Luck with Rockets After Reported Trade
With Chris Paul on his way to the Houston Rockets after The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski reported the Los Angeles Clippers were trading the All-Star point guard, LeBron James has offered his friend a good-luck message.
James shared his message to Paul on Twitter after the deal reportedly went down:
James and Paul's friendship has been well-documented. The duo, along with Dwyane Wade, took a banana boat ride during the 2015 offseason.
Beyond their vacation trips together, James and Paul were part of the 2008 and 2012 United States Olympic basketball teams that won gold medals.
If the deal with the Rockets becomes official, Paul will play in the same backcourt as 2016-17 NBA MVP finalist James Harden. Houston finished last season 55-27 before losing to the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Semifinals.
