Ivory Coast won the Toulon Tournament in 2010, but they face a big challenge if they are to earn another shot at glory this year.
Czech Republic are an impressive side and don't concede goals easily. They conceded as they overcame Scotland 3-2 in their tournament opener, but subsequently kept two clean sheets in a defeat of Indonesia and final group-stage draw with Brazil.
The Ivorians, meanwhile, also go into the semi-finals on the back of a draw having overturned a 1-0 deficit against Wales to lead 2-1, only to concede a late equaliser.
Narrow wins over hosts France and Bahrain, though, had already set Ivory Coast up to finish on top of Group B, and they know they have the squad to cause the Czechs some problems.
Both sides have a number of goalscorers to call upon, but neither have been especially prolific so far in the tournament.
Between them they have returned 10 goals in six matches, the same number defending champions England have on their own in three games.
A high-scoring encounter is unlikely, then.
It will be a tense match that, first and foremost, neither side will want to lose.
As such, the opening goal will be absolutely vital, and if the Czechs or Ivorians are bold enough to come out fast in an attempt to strike early, they could be rewarded with a place in the final.
