Minnesota Walk-On Blake Cashman Gets Surprised with Scholarship in Egg Hunt

Over the weekend, the University of Minnesota's football team held an Easter egg hunt at their practice facility. When the players opened their eggs after the 30-minute search, they learned junior linebacker Blake Cashman was getting a scholarship.

As is the case in all of these scholarship-surprise videos, the entire roster went wild for their teammate. Cashman remained composed when addressing his teammates, promising everyone he'd continue to work toward his goal of helping the team win a Big Ten championship.

Head coach P.J. Fleck then announced the team would celebrate Cashman's scholarship with a trip to Fogo de Chao, an all-you-can-eat restaurant, which sent the Golden Gophers into even more of a frenzy.
