To be clear, Lynch is not a member of the Raiders yet.
As Silver and Mike Garafolo noted, the Seattle Seahawks still hold Lynch's rights, meaning he won't officially make the move to the Bay Area until the two sides complete a trade.
Garafolo added that both the Seahawks and Raiders remain "optimistic" about an agreement even though they haven't initiated talks yet.
Pro Football Talk reported the sides are not close to a deal at present time.
Should things proceed to the point where Lynch is able to formally link up with the Raiders, he'll project as the team's new lead back following the offseason departure of Latavius Murray.
