Former Alabama LB Ryan Anderson Explains Deshaun Watson Tuscaloosa Bar Video
Former Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson was seemingly forced to leave a bar in Tuscaloosa last weekend, but former Alabama linebacker Ryan Anderson says it wasn't his fault.
Anderson's publicist Bob Broderick told TMZ the player was defending Watson and offered to pay his bill. He says it was the other customers in the restaurant who were being hostile.
"Bottom line, Ryan didn't ask Deshaun to leave," Broderick said.
Anderson, along with former Alabama defensive end Wallace Gilberry, suggested Watson leave as a protection before the situation escalated.
Watson notably led the Tigers to a 35-31 win over Alabama in the national title game this year, scoring four touchdowns in the process.
Both Watson and Anderson are preparing for the 2017 NFL draft.
