Manchester City host Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday as the race for the top four hots up.

Chelsea are 10 points clear at the top of the table and look to have the title sewn up, but behind them there are five teams vying for the remaining three UEFA Champions League places.

While City and Liverpool face each other, Tottenham Hotspur host Southampton, Arsenal travel to West Bromwich Albion, and Manchester United play Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

Manchester City vs. Liverpool

City will need to brush off the disappointment of their Champions League exit at the hands of AS Monaco on Wednesday.

As Goal's Sam Lee noted, the Sky Blues are far from the finished article under Pep Guardiola:

City are particularly vulnerable at the back, and the Ligue 1 side took full advantage of that—Liverpool will look to do the same.

The Reds have been inconsistent this season and only just beat Burnley in their last outing, but as the Premier League demonstrated, they have an excellent record against fellow top-six sides:

Indeed, they've won five of those matches to take 19 points from a possible 27.

Liverpool writer Dave O'Connell noted the way the Reds raise their game against superior opposition when they dismantled Arsenal 3-1 earlier in March:

They're likely to put in another strong performance here. City have lost just one Premier League game in 2017, though, so the pair could well end up sharing the spoils after an exciting encounter.

West Ham United vs. Leicester City

In contrast to Man City, Leicester enter the weekend on cloud nine after their midweek heroics saw them beat Sevilla to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Since Claudio Ranieri was relieved of his duties as manager, the Foxes' form has been reminiscent of last year, as Squawka Football illustrated:

The Independent's Miguel Delaney explained one of the main factors in their revival:

Leicester's attention must now return to Premier League survival, and they take on a West Ham side winless in four matches.

Writer Dan Silver was critical of the Hammers during their 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth last time out:

If Leicester play as they have in recent weeks, they could easily come away with three points here.

However, all of their matches since Ranieri was sacked have come at the King Power Stadium.

Away from home, they're a different prospect—only they and Burnley have failed to pick up a win on the road in the Premier League this season—so it will prove a fascinating test on Saturday.
