EPL Table: Saturday's Week 27 Results, Scores and 2017 Premier League Standings
The Premier League treated fans to something of a goal fest in Week 27, with plenty of drama at the top and bottom of the table on Saturday.
Liverpool capped off the day’s action by heaping yet more misery on the hapless Arsenal on Saturday, beating the Gunners 3-1 at Anfield to all but end the north Londoners' hopes of the title.
The Reds were under a bit of pressure themselves after some questionable recent results, but they simply outclassed Arsene Wenger’s side, who now sit fifth in the Premier League table—two places below Liverpool.

Goal Fest in the Premier League

There are some Premier League weeks that are rather forgettable, but Week 27 was full of drama, goals and big consequences in races for the top four and safety.
Champions Leicester City enjoyed their second 3-1 league victory on the spin on Saturday, adding the scalp of Hull City to their impressive win over Liverpool last time out.
Goals from Christian Fuchs and Riyad Mahrez cancelled out Sam Clucas’ opener for the visitors, before a Tom Huddlestone own goal added gloss to the result.
Three points send Leicester five points clear of the relegation zone and suddenly feeling a lot better about life. Bleacher Report UK jested that sacking former manager Claudio Ranieri was the catalyst for success:
The game of the day came at Vicarage Road, as Southampton disposed of Watford 4-3.
Dusan Tadic, Manolo Gabbiadini and a Nathan Redmond brace gave the Saints all three points in a pulsating encounter. Squawka Football broke down the stats of the match:
Swansea City also chalked up a vital win in dramatic circumstances, leaving it late to beat Burnley 3-2.
Fernando Llorente’s second goal of the game was a 90th-minute winner that took the Swans level on points with Leicester on 27. Fantasy Premier League jested that the striker would have been a popular pick in FPL:
Middlesbrough were the big losers of the day on their trip to Stoke City, as a double from Marko Arnautovic made it no league wins in 10 for the Teesiders.
Crystal Palace’s impressive 2-0 victory at West Bromwich Albion meant that Boro slipped into the relegation places on Saturday, and if Sunderland can find a way past Manchester City on Sunday, they’ll slip further down the ladder.
City, meanwhile, will be looking to move second on Sunday with three points at the Stadium of Light, if Tottenham Hotspur slip up earlier in the day against Everton.
