Oklahoma RB Samaje Perine Teams Up with Magician to Propose to Girlfriend

Most marriage proposals have a spark, or a bit of magic, to them.

Former Oklahoma Sooners running back Samaje Perine took that literally.

On Saturday, the NFL-bound rusher teamed up with YouTube magician Daniel Fernandez to pop the question to his longtime girlfriend, Meg Haney. During Fernandez's act, he did one of those card-swap tricks—what Perine had written showed up on Haney's card, and what she had written showed up on his.

Fernandez then had the couple read each other's messages out loud. When Haney read Perine's message, he dropped to a knee with a ring.

She said yes, and everyone celebrated.
