Cristiano Ronaldo recently collected his fourth Ballon d'Or, moving him to within one of Lionel Messi's haul of five. After a year in which he won the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid and the European Championship with Portugal, it's difficult to suggest he didn't deserve it.
