Bahamas Bowl 2016: Eastern Michigan vs. Old Dominion Live Score and Highlights

Final- Old Dominion 24,  Eastern Michigan 20

It didn't have the fireworks of the previous two Bahamas Bowls, but that doesn't take any of the excitement away from Old Dominion. The Monarchs fought off a determined Eastern Michigan team, claiming a 24-20 victory in the Bahamas Bowl at Nassau, Bahamas and, presumably, claiming more free Popeye's chicken for themselves.

It's Old Dominion's first bowl win in its eighth season as a program (and fourth as an FBS team) and also clinched a 10-win season. The Monarchs ground out the game and finished the clock when the had to behind tailback Ray Lawry, who gained 133 yards on 23 carries. It was also an impressive effort for Eastern Michigan, which finished 7-6 in its first bowl season since 1987.
