Carolina Jaramillo Becomes 1st Female Player in Major Arena Soccer League

Carolina Jaramillo is making history, as she has just become the first female player to join the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL).

The Mexican National Team player was named as the new forward for Atletico Baja on Friday, becoming the first female player to compete alongside men in any professional Mexican league.

Jaramillo has been playing arena soccer for Mexican alternate futbol rapido since 2003. She is set to make her big debut for the team during Sunday's game against Centro de Usos.
