Peach Bowl 2016: Washington vs. Alabama Live Playoff Score and Highlights
Defending national champion Alabama won its 26th straight game in a fashion that's been similar to many results this season, slowly and methodically suffocating its opponent into submission.
The Crimson Tide (14-0) allowed a touchdown early in the first quarter and that was it, scoring 24 unanswered points on their way to a 24-7 victory over Washington (12-2) in the Peach Bowl.
Sophomore Bo Scarbrough ran for 180 yards and two touchdowns, including a 68-yard TD with 11:56 left in the fourth quarter. He also scored on an 18-yard run in the first quarter that tied the game at 7-7.
Alabama forced three turnovers, with Ryan Anderson returning an interception 26 yards for a TD in the second quarter. That was the Tide's 11th defensive TD of the season and 15th non-offensive score, one fewer than they've allowed opponents to score in 2016.
Washington was held to a season-low 194 yards with Jake Browning throwing for 150 yards and a TD with two interceptions on 20-of-38 passing. He was also sacked five times.
