Tottenham Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Moussa Sissoko and Franck Kessie
Juventus' search for another midfielder may reportedly lead them to Tottenham Hotspur's Moussa Sissoko, while the agent of Atalanta star Franck Kessie will visit with Liverpool.
Sissoko hasn't been a success since moving to White Hart Lane from Newcastle United during the summer, and unsurprisingly, the transfer rumour mill is already linking the France international with a move away from the club.
According to Neil Fissler of the Daily Express, Juventus were very interested in the 27-year-old after UEFA Euro 2016, where Sissoko played an excellent tournament for France, boosting his stock ahead of a move.

With Miralem Pjanic struggling to settle in, the Turin giants lack depth in midfield, and they're expected to add another piece in January. While the list of options is long, Sissoko's lack of involvement in north London reportedly leaves him near the top.
Sissoko came off the bench in the 1-0 loss against Manchester United on Sunday, and per Squawka Football, he quickly flashed his talent:
Consistency has been a major issue this season, however, along with an injury and a suspension. Tottenham haven't needed him all that much, and if Sissoko can't get consistent minutes with Spurs, one has to wonder how things would be different in Turin.
Juventus have plenty of other options, including Zenit Saint Petersburg's Axel Witsel, Steven N'Zonzi of Sevilla and Corentin Tolisso of Lyon, per Tuttosport (h/t Calciomercato). And out of all the options, Kessie may be the most intriguing.

The Atalanta man is enjoying a fantastic breakout season, leading to plenty of interest and speculation. Per Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Metro's Louis Sealey), the Bianconeri are joined by Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs in the race to land the Ivory Coast international, with the Reds trying to move first by meeting with his agent.
The 19-year-old grew up a centre-back but blossomed when he was moved into a midfield role while on loan at Cesena, and he's been on fire this season, scoring five goals already. Here's a look at some of his highlights:
He's frequently compared to compatriot Yaya Toure, and it's easy to see why. Like Toure, Kessie has remarkable strength on the ball, and he pairs his athleticism with excellent vision and passing range.
He also has a penchant for scoring goals from around the box and has already assumed penalty duties for Atalanta as well, despite his young age.

Kessie and team-mate Mattia Caldara have played a huge role in Atalanta's great start to the season, and the two have already been linked with several top clubs. Juventus, who tend to be first in line for Serie A's top youngsters, have reportedly already made an offer for Kessie, per Goal's Manuele Baiocchini.
His agent's visit to Liverpool is more bad news for Spurs, who already feature a powerful duo in midfield in Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama and may not be willing to beat a host of other clubs in a bidding order for Kessie's services.
