Jim Harbaugh Breaks Headset in Frustration, Tries Putting It Back On
Michigan faced consequences after Jim Harbaugh lost his temper during Saturday's game versus Ohio State.
Late in the third quarter, the Wolverines were called for an offside penalty. Angry at the five-yard infraction, the head coach threw his play sheet in the air and spiked his headset.
The headset broke, and the irritated Harbaugh tried to put it back on as if nothing had happened:
The officials called unsportsmanlike conduct on the Michigan bench, which moved the Buckeyes to the 4-yard line after the initial penalty had brought them to the 8.
Two plays later, Mike Weber punched in a one-yard touchdown run to help narrow Ohio State's deficit to 17-14.
The penalties loom large after Michigan fell short, 30-27, in a double-overtime classic.
