USC routs Notre Dame, running away from the Fighting Irish by a 45-27 margin.

It was all Adoree Jackson for the Trojans. The junior cornerback scored kick return, punt return and receiving touchdowns on the day, killing a Notre Dame rally late in the third quarter on his 97-yard kick return.

With Jackson bringing the highlights, coach Clay Helton's defense handled the rest. The Trojans pummeled Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer all day, sacking him five times and taking his lone interception to the house.

The win puts the Trojans a Colorado loss away from the Pac-12 Championship Game after their 1-3 start. Coach Brian Kelly's Fighting Irish will finish a lost season at 4-8.
