The No. 5 Washington Huskies earned a dominant 45-17 victory over the No. 23 Washington State Cougars in the 2016 Apple Cup and advanced to the Pac-12 Championship Game.

Jake Browning tossed three touchdowns during the first quarter to help the Dawgs build a 28-3 lead. Myles Gaskin tallied the other score, then Lavon Coleman later added two more touchdowns.

Washington's defense allowed just one pass of 20-plus yards, limiting Luke Falk and Wazzu's explosive offense. The Huskies grabbed three interceptions, including one in the end zone. They also stood up the Cougs on a pair of fourth downs at the goal line.
