Clemson vs. Wake Forest: Live Score, Highlights for Tigers vs. Demon Deacons
Clemson 35, Wake Forest 13—Final
Clemson jumped out to an early 28-0 lead, but Wake Forest fought back and scored 13 unanswered points to make it a close game. The Tigers added another touchdown in the second half, and that was all they needed in the 35-13 win.
It was a big night for Wayne Gallman, who finished with 161 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. It was the fourth 100-yard effort of the season for Gallman and his first since Oct. 7 against Boston College. Deshaun Watson was efficient, throwing for 202 yards and one touchdown. He also added 47 yards and two touchdowns rushing.
The Clemson defense rebounded well from the Pittsburgh loss, holding Wake Forest to just 197 total yards and nine first downs.
Clemson will travel back home to take on rival South Carolina next week, while Wake Forest will face Boston College at home.
