Washington averaged a little over 48 points per game entering Saturday, but the USC defense was up to the challenge. The Trojans held Washington to just 276 total yards and only 17 rushing yards in the 26-13 win. Adoree Jackson had two interceptions, and one of those was crucial in the fourth quarter.

Freshman quarterback Sam Darnold continued his solid play with two-touchdown performance, and he added 287 yards passing. He showed a lot of poise against a physical defense on the road, and he is now 6-1 since taking over as the starter. 

USC will travel to UCLA for the rivalry showdown next week, while Washington will stay at home to take on Arizona State.
