Jim Harbaugh Says He Models SpongeBob's Behavior: 'What a Great Employee He Is'

Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh revealed a peculiar source of inspiration Tuesday: SpongeBob.

The topic came up after the 52-year-old was asked about a recent reference of another classic cartoon, The Simpsons:

Harbaugh was honored by the joke and added that The Simpsons and SpongeBob SquarePants were his favorite animated shows.

Here’s what the coach had to say about the pride of the Krusty Krab, per Mark Snyder of the Detroit Free Press:

I love his attitude, he attacks each day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind. I model my behavior by him. What a great employee he is. He is a go-getter, he's always got a bounce in his step. He's got pizzazz, he puts his heart and soul into making those patties. I think he's awesome.
