ANN ARBOR, Mich. —The No. 3 Michigan Wolverines smacked the Maryland Terrapins 59-3 in a Big Ten clash Saturday afternoon at the Big House.

Wilton Speight completed 19 of 24 passes for a career-best 362 yards, throwing two touchdowns and running for another in the blowout win. De'Veon Smith added three rushing scores, while Michigan improved to 9-0 on the season.

Maryland ripped off several big gains by attacking the outside of the Wolverines defense, but the Terps struggled to finish drives. They committed three turnovers on downs and missed a field goal.
