Eighty-six-year-old Notre Dame superfan Eleanor Smolar has loved the Fighting Irish all her life. She had never gotten a chance to see the football team play live, but this past summer, her family decided to change that.

Once Notre Dame got wind that Eleanor would be attending her first-ever game at Notre Dame Stadium, it knew she needed the red-carpet treatment.
