West Brom vs. Manchester City: Team News, Preview, Live Stream and TV Info
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will try to snap the longest winless run of his managerial career when his team takes on West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns on Saturday.
The Citizens haven't won in their last six in all competitions, and have been finding goals hard to come by. In fact, they've scored just twice in five games.
So Guardiola may not welcome the sight of the Baggies, one of the most defensively disciplined teams in the Premier League. Albion boss Tony Pulis knows how to set his squad up to frustrate the big boys.

For all their issues, City are still top of the table. Yet Guardiola has been making some unwanted history in his career recently, with Sky Sports Statto detailing his current woes:
The latest setback came when City were beaten 1-0 by neighbours Manchester United in the EFL Cup. It was a game where Guardiola's possession-based style of play failed to produce end product, according to Squawka:
Sure, Guardiola reshuffled the pack for England's least glamorous cup competition. Yet the changed lineup at Old Trafford doesn't explain why City haven't been scoring in the league.
One issue has been Kevin De Bruyne's struggles to stay fit. The Belgian attacking midfielder has been the one player to strike fear into opposing defenders this season.
Without De Bruyne, the pace of the Citizens' passing slows and striker Sergio Aguero is denied the supply he needs to decide matches. Unfortunately, De Bruyne picked up a calf problem during the 1-1 home draw with Southampton last time out in the league.

What City really need is for other creative midfielders to pick up the slack. David Silva, Raheem Sterling, Ilkay Gunodgan, Nolito and Leroy Sane must connect more often around Aguero.
At least Guardiola has more options at the back now Vincent Kompany is getting playing time. Kompany played 45 minutes against United before being substituted.
Guardiola has stressed the Belgian defender was merely fatigued after so long battling injuries, per Stuart Brennan of the Manchester Evening News:
City have had plenty of questions defensively, but the Baggies have made defending their forte. Actually, their tendency to defend has come in for criticism.
Centre-back Jonas Olsson attempted to answer critics of the club's strategy after their recent 2-1 defeat to Liverpool, per the Express & Star: “The game plan is not to defend for 90 minutes. You try to manage the game."
Regardless of Olsson's words, the Baggies follow a pretty familiar formula. It hinges on sitting deep and working opportunities for set pieces, where the likes of Olsson, Gareth McAuley and Salomon Rondon are all major threats.
Breaking down West Brom won't be easy for City, and this could be the worst game at the worst time for Guardiola. Yet some of his marquee players are due big games. If Aguero and others deliver, the Citizens will stay top.
