Mavericks and Pacers Commit 3 Turnovers in Under 30 Seconds Early in 1st Game

The Dallas Mavericks and Indiana Pacers are still in preseason form.
Early in the first quarter of Wednesday’s season opener, both teams combined to turn the ball over three times in less than 30 seconds.
It was ugly.
The turnover train began with a careless pass from Wesley Matthews, which Monta Ellis swiped. The Pacers guard then turned it back over to Matthews in the open court, who pushed ahead and kicked it to Dirk Nowitzki.
The big fella got stuck after leaving his feet and awkwardly threw the rock out of bounds.
