2016-17 NBA Season Preview: Do the Knicks or Lakers Have the Brighter Future?

Two of NBA's biggest franchises, the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers, missed the playoffs last season. Both teams made big moves this offseason to set them up for a brighter future.

The Knicks acquired former stars such as Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah and also have 21-year-old Kristaps Porzingis. The Lakers, despite losing Kobe Bryant, drafted Brandon Ingram and still have young talents such as D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson.
