Clemson vs. Boston College: Live Score, Highlights for Tigers vs. Eagles
Clemson 56, Boston College 10—Final
There were whispers of a trap game here, but the Clemson Tigers took care of business with the 56-10 victory over the Boston College Eagles. The Tigers led 21-3 at halftime, and Swinney's group stayed aggressive, notching five touchdowns in the second half.
It was another impressive night for quarterback Deshaun Watson, who finished with 266 yards and four touchdowns. He also added 33 yards on the ground. Mike Williams had the catch of the night, and he finished with 59 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Deon Cain led all receivers with 68 yards receiving, and he also added two touchdown catches, bringing his season total to six. It was a balanced offensive attack, as the Tigers finished with 272 yards through the air and 234 yards on the ground.
It was also another great effort by the Clemson defense, which allowed just 251 total yards. It started with the defensive line winning at the point of attack, and the Clemson secondary held Boston College to just 96 passing yards.
The Tigers will head back home next week to take on North Carolina State, while Boston College will face Syracuse at home after an off week.
