Kentucky vs. Alabama: Live Score, Highlights for Wildcats vs. Crimson Tide
Alabama 34, Kentucky 6—Final
Despite a slow start, No. 1 Alabama handled its business at home, blowing past Kentucky for a 34-6 victory.
As expected, head coach Nick Saban's team wanted no part of the wild endings that cost Georgia and Florida State earlier in the day. After falling behind 3-0 in the first quarter, the Crimson Tide reeled off 31 points in a row behind a career day by receiver Calvin Ridley, who finished with 174 yards and two touchdowns.
Quarterback Stephen Johnson and the rest of the Kentucky team did their best to keep things close, but the Alabama defense proved too much in holding them under 200 offensive yards.
With its seventh non-offensive touchdown of the year, it's tough to see this Alabama team giving up its No. 1 ranking any time soon.
