Tennessee vs. Georgia: Live Score, Highlights for Volunteers vs. Bulldogs
Once Tennessee Volunteers sophomore receiver Jauan Jennings came down with a 43-yard prayer from Joshua Dobbs to give the Volunteers a dramatic 34-31 last-second win over the Georgia Bulldogs, all UT head coach Butch Jones could do was bury his head in his hands and go down to his knees.
"Indescribable," he told CBS afterward.
What else can you say? The Vols and Bulldogs traded last-minute bombs for one of the most unbelievable finishes anybody will ever see in college football. First, super freshman Jacob Eason found Riley Ridley on a 47-yard go-ahead touchdown with 10 seconds left.
Then an unsportsmanlike-conduct penalty on Georgia and a short kickoff set up the Dobbs-to-Jennings dramatics.
UT yet again came from way behind, this time a 17-0 deficit that was fueled by a Jalen Hurd fumble as he was crossing the goal line. But the Vols fought all the way back and took the lead on a forced fumble on a Derek Barnett sack that was recovered in the end zone.
Even though Georgia regained the lead, Tennessee wound up celebrating on the Sanford Stadium turf.
