Dalvin Cook Fumbles Ball out of Bounds Before Reaching End Zone vs. Ole Miss
The Florida State Seminoles' first half against the Ole Miss Rebels went as poorly as possible, and no play summed that up better than Dalvin Cook's attempt to score in the second quarter.
With the Seminoles down 21-3, the elite running back appeared to be ready to walk in for a touchdown, but he dropped the ball out of bounds untouched:
Instead of a 28-yard touchdown reception, Florida State ended up with a first down at the 3-yard line. Three unsuccessful plays later, the squad was forced to settle for a field goal.
Even Kaelin Clay mocked Cook after the play:
The former Utah receiver infamously dropped the ball before crossing the goal line on a long reception against Oregon two years ago.
Facing one of the best teams in the SEC is always a tough challenge, but winning is even harder when you ruin your own chance at scoring an easy touchdown.
