Premier League Results Week 3: Sunday's 2016 EPL Scores, Top Scorers and Table
Manchester City moved to the top of the Premier League table Sunday following a 3-1 win over West Ham at the Etihad Stadium and brought an end to Matchday 3.
A lot of time remains in the 2016-17 campaign, but it's a nice feather in the cap for manager Pep Guardiola to have three wins in his first three matches at City ahead of the international break.
Below is a look at this week's full results, in addition to the league table and scoring charts.

Sunday Recap
Around this time last year, former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard criticized what he believed was an inability for Raheem Sterling to consistently finish his chances. On Sunday, Sterling registered a brace in City's 3-1 win.
The 21-year-old opened the scoring in the seventh minute after receiving a cross from Nolito. Sterling added another in the second minute of second-half injury time. It was a nifty piece of finishing as he rounded West Ham goalkeeper Adrian near the end line and then poked the ball inside the left post.
Sterling didn't have a poor first season at the Etihad but didn't perform at a level many expected him to after he broke through with Liverpool at such a young age. So far this year, no player has looked better under Guardiola:
City needs Sterling to continue playing well over their next few matches in the event the league takes retrospective action against Sergio Aguero. The Argentine playmaker elbowed Winston Reid in the second half.
The incident went unpunished during the match, but the league could opt to suspend Aguero for upcoming matches. The Guardian's Jacob Steinberg was critical of referee Andre Marriner:
Guardiola won't dwell too long on his bad luck in the event Aguero is unavailable for selection.
"I am new here so I don't know how it works," he said, per the Guardian's Jamie Jackson. "I didn't see [the act] so I cannot comment. Hopefully nothing happens. If it happens, we accept and adapt. If we lose him, we lose him. We are going to play with 11."
City have Manchester Derby on Sept. 10, so even if Aguero is banned for just one game, his absence would come at a bad time for the club.
In Sunday's earlier match, West Bromwich drew 0-0 with Middlesbrough. It wasn't a game for the football aesthetes. The two clubs combined for four shots on goal. ESPN FC's Michael Caley provided the expected goals from the draw, which illustrated each side's issues in the final third:

Taking only a point from the match isn't the worst result for West Brom, but their performance is worrying for supporters who question whether the Baggies have enough in the attack to make any sort of progress this year.
OptaJoe noted before the match West Brom doesn't have a great goalscoring record under manager Tony Pulis:
StatsBomb's Ted Knutson doesn't have any faith in Pulis getting the most out of his most creative players:
Pulis benched Saido Berahino, telling Sky Sports (via Ben Nagle of SkySports.com) the 23-year-old forward needs to "clear his mind" and that any issues between Berahino and the club will be over in 48 hours.
Having Berahino in form would help alleviate some of the problems plaguing West Brom. In the event he's either sold, or labors through another disappointing season, the club could be in serious trouble.
