Top Saturday Scorers

Sergio Aguero, Manchester City

The 2014-15 Golden Boot winner has started on the right foot this season.

Against Stoke City, Sergio Aguero recorded his first brace of the year and now sits atop all Premier League scorers with three after two matches.

He opened the scoring via the penalty spot after 27 minutes and added another just nine minutes later off a free kick from Kevin De Bruyne, via NBC Sports Soccer:

Under new manager Pep Guardiola, Aguero has been scolding hot, scoring six goals in three competitive matches. He was coming off a midweek hat-trick against Romanian side Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League.

Nolito, Manchester City

Coming off the bench in the 69th minute, Nolito came in for Jesus Navas and made his presence felt immediately.

After Stoke pulled one back through Bojan in the 49th minute to halve the lead created by Aguero, Nolito put the game away with a pair of goals in the 86th minute and in the 95th.

After he came over from Celta Vigo this summer, these were Nolito's first two goals in the Premier League. He collected his first for City on Tuesday against Steaua Bucharest.
