Barclays Premier League Table: Updated 2016 EPL Review After Week 2 Results
Jose Mourinho's winning reign as Manchester United manager continued on Friday after the Red Devils sent Southampton packing from Old Trafford following a 2-0 win in favour of the hosts.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic provided both goals for the Red Devils as Mourinho's first home match as Premier League manager came off without a hitch.
The win temporarily moves United to the summit of the English top flight, while manager Claude Puel's side are still to claim a win this season after drawing 1-1 against Watford on opening day last Saturday.

Ibrahimovic Running Rampant
Ibrahimovic was at the double for United on Friday to bring his Manchester United tally up to four goals in three competitive games, including three in his first two Premier League appearances for the club.
His opener at Old Trafford came thanks to a superb, in-swinging cross from captain Wayne Rooney, and the Swede duly headed past Saints goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
Having done the same against Leicester City centre-back Wes Morgan in the Community Shield, Sky Sports' Adam Bates noted the former Paris Saint-Germain talisman is having no issues against England's defences:
Luke Shaw won a penalty early in the second half for Ibrahimovic to double United's lead from the spot, and Sky Sports Statto highlighted Southampton manager Claude Puel's poor record against the forward:
Any lingering concerns over whether Ibrahimovic, 34, would have any signs of rust after moving to the Premier League look to have been dismissed following his blistering start to life in England.
Next up for Mourinho and his star frontman is a trip to promoted Hull City next Saturday, where he and the newly attacking-oriented United will be hoping to once again impress their presence in front of goal.
Smooth Transition for Pogba

Despite having his share of shaky moments, Friday was a night to remember for Pogba as the Theatre of Dreams welcomed the prodigal son back to his first professional home.
A busy display will have excited any in attendance at Old Trafford—Southampton fans not included—and blogger Liam Canning spoke highly of his instant impact:
Squawka Dave helped put the display into numbers, too, as the Frenchman's passing presence in midfield noticeably improved United's speed on the break in particular:
Manager Mourinho may well feel his new signing still has improvements to make, but the writing is on the wall that United may have been justified forking out a world-record sum for their newest superstar.
Ibrahimovic may have been the one scoring goals on Friday, but there was another Red Devil featuring prominently for his side, who stole some headlines of his own.
