Cristiano Ronaldo Launches 'CR7Selfie' App for Save the Children Charity
Fans all over the world will now be able to get a selfie with Cristiano Ronaldo after the Real Madrid superstar launched a new app in partnership with international charity Save the Children.
The CR7Selfie: Fans with a Cause app will allow people to pose for a selfie with Ronaldo "wherever and whenever they please," with the 31-year-old forward available in a number of different outfits including "in a tux, holding the European Golden Boot, singing karaoke," per Save the Children.
A percentage of the worldwide proceeds from every download—the app costs $1.99 or £1.49—will go to Save the Children.

The man himself explained all on his Twitter account:
Ronaldo said being a father was one of the reasons he decided to choose Save the Children as his partner in the new venture, per the charity's statement:
"I am thrilled to launch this app to engage with my fans in a new way. From the very beginning, I knew that I wanted this app to support a charitable cause I believe in. I have been involved with Save the Children for several years now and knew they were the best partner for this app. As a father and Global Artist Ambassador for Save the Children, I am committed to working towards giving all children a better and brighter future. I invite everyone to be a fan with a cause, so be sure to download the app, take a selfie with me anytime, anywhere and everywhere—and at the same time help kids in need!
"
As one of the biggest stars in the world, Ronaldo is used to fans asking for selfies and is a seasoned professional when it comes to knocking off dozens at a time, per Bleacher Report UK:
He even allowed an opportunistic ballboy to take a quick snap with him moments before the start of July's semi-final with Wales at Euro 2016, per the Daily Star:
Now fans will be able to get a prized photograph with the three-time Ballon d'Or winner without even meeting Ronaldo, although it is unlikely the Portuguese star will get fewer requests for real-life selfies as a result.
