Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh is up to somethin'.

During a Friday appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, the 52-year-old made some waves by announcing Michael Jordan will be the honorary captain for his team's opener:

Here's the connection: In 2016, Michigan will be the first college football team outfitted by the Jumpman brand, as noted by Nick Baumgardner of MLive.com.

With that in mind, partnering with the NBA legend doesn't seem strange after all.
