Legendary Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is known as one of the classiest men in football, and he proved as much at the end of Italy's 1-0 loss to the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday night.

Robbie Brady's late header secured the three points Martin O'Neill's men needed to advance to the last 16 of Euro 2016, sparking wild celebrations on the pitch, in the stands and in the dugout.

And Juventus stopper Buffon made sure he stopped by the celebrating O'Neill and his assistant Roy Keane to congratulate them on their historic moment. Classy.
