Woman Serenaded by Irish Fans at Euro 2016 Posts Song Video to Instagram
A clip of Republic of Ireland supporters serenading French woman Carla Romera went viral earlier this week, and the recipient of the kind words has offered an insight into the occasion with her own post on Instagram.
The sing-song occurred following Ireland’s 3-0 loss to Belgium in Bordeaux on Saturday. But spirits were high among the Ireland camp, with Romera getting involved in the party atmosphere:

According to Helena Horton of the Daily Telegraph, as well as Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” the men in green also sung “Hey Baby” by DJ Otzi. “The French woman received a peck on the cheek from one of the fans—and then decided to reciprocate,” it was added.
Romera could be seen smiling with a beer in her hand on the first clip. The initial video went viral and now her own version has set social media ablaze too.
The Ireland fans have certainly made the most of their time in France with some colourful displays of support for their team. However, unless Martin O’Neill’s men beat Italy on Wednesday they’ll be eliminated before the knockout stages of the competition.
