Defending champions Chile will look to bounce back from their Copa America Centenario defeat to Argentina when they face Bolivia on Friday.

Meanwhile, La Albiceleste will be hoping to consolidate their position in the group when they take on Panama at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Read on for a closer look at both matches, but first here is the full schedule complete with Odds Shark's latest odds and viewing information:

Chile vs. Bolivia

La Roja's first game of the Copa was a replay of last year's final, which they won on penalties after the match finished goalless.

This time around, Chile were perhaps fortunate to concede just two goals in a match in which they failed to convince at the back and struggled to impress going forward, per CONCACAF's official Twitter feed:

Indeed, despite boasting the likes of Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez, Chile were largely ineffectual in the final third. ESPN's Paul Carr revealed as such:

The knockout stages are still firmly within reach, but realistically they will need to win both their remaining games if they're to progress.

Bolivia also lost their first match, sinking to a 2-1 defeat to Panama. On paper, Chile should have little trouble in overcoming them, but they'll need to put in a far better attacking performance than they did in their first match.

Argentina vs. Panama

Unlike Chile, Argentina impressed in their match—even more so because they were missing Lionel Messi.

Of course, they may still call on Gonzalo Higuain, Sergio Aguero and Angel Di Maria, but such is the Barcelona star's quality—his absence is still felt.

Per Goal's Tom Webber, Albiceleste boss Gerardo Martino confirmed the 28-year-old would be making a return against Panama: "Messi trained with the group and is going to play tomorrow [Friday]. I see no reason to not include him."

Panama boss Hernan Dario Gomez is wary of the threat he poses, per Reuters (h/t the Hindustan Times): "You can work a lot to build a team, but against Messi there’s nothing you can do. If Messi’s inspired, he can kill anyone. One works on tactics and has a team but individuals are above that in football. Messi is a man who is above everyone."

Indeed, it's difficult to imagine his side keeping Messi and Co. at bay despite their impressive opening win.

If Los Canaleros are to get a result, they'll need 35-year-old Blas Perez to repeat his heroics from their first match. Fox Sports' Grant Wahl and Goal's Ives Galarcep remarked on the striker's performance:

Though Argentina's weakest link is their defence, their back line was surprisingly solid against Chile. If they put in a similar performance on Friday, it should be a routine match.

Expect them to win comfortably in Foxborough.
