James DudkoJun 10, 2016

Last year's finalists are in action at the Copa America Centenario on Friday, when titleholders Chile meet Bolivia at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, while 2015 runners-up Argentina face Panama at Chicago's Soldier Field.

It's a chance for Chile to rebound after losing 2-1 to Argentina in the Group D opener. The latter have been impressive so far, with midfield maestro Angel Di Maria standing out. By contrast, some of Chile's senior stars have appeared jaded.

Before a preview, here are the viewing details, along with odds, per Odds Shark.

Chile vs. Bolivia

Chile won't like hearing attacking talisman Alexis Sanchez is tired this early in the tournament. Yet, the Arsenal ace confirmed he's feeling the fatigue after the defeat to Argentina, per James Benge of the London Evening Standard“I’m tired. I could not sleep after the match with Argentina. It was demanding. I hope to recover and get my enthusiasm back in the game against Bolivia."

Sanchez appeared fatigued against Argentina.

In fairness, Sanchez has endured a hectic schedule the past two years. He completed a first full season with the Gunners before winning the Copa with Chile in 2015. Now he's back after another arduous Premier League campaign.

Yet regardless of how he's feeling, Sanchez remains the main man for his country. Few players can match his pace, trickery and ability to finish with either foot or in the air. Sanchez has to resume his role as the natural focal point of Chile's attack.

It will help if a creative midfield can find its radar more than it did against Argentina. So Marcelo Diaz and Fabian Orellana really need to work the spaces between the lines and produce the passes to match Sanchez's runs.

Diaz was one of the few who impressed for the titleholders in their opening game, but it's Orellana who can really make a difference. The Celta Vigo man has an astute eye for a defence-splitting pass and causes problems whenever he ghosts off the flanks to roam the middle.

If Orellana and Diaz are given the freedom of the middle, Bolivia will be in trouble and Sanchez will be back on goalscoring form.

Prediction: Chile 3-0 Bolivia

Argentina vs. Panama

Di Maria is one attack-minded player in top form. He scored Argentina's opener to help gain a small measure of revenge for last season's final.

More than the obvious production though, Di Maria was a class apart in the way he ran things in the final third. His touch and control were exceptional and he was always brimming with imaginative ways of unlocking the Chilean defence.

When considering Argentina, it's easy to get wrapped up in the wonders of an awesome forward line populated by Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain. But it's Di Maria's brilliant flair that really makes this team tick.

It's hard to envisage even a well-drilled Panama team keeping Di Maria quiet for long. Yet, if they're going to have a chance, Anibal Godoy will be a key man.

Prior to the tournament, Sports Illustrated's Brian Straus dubbed Godoy a "high-quality holder who can tackle, distribute and set the tone." The MLS star can't let Di Maria out of his sight.

Prediction: Argentina 4-1 Panama
