EA Sports Shares New Reveal Trailer for 'FIFA 17'

EA Sports kickstarted the countdown to the next edition of the hugely popular FIFA franchise on Monday with a time-lapse reveal trailer for FIFA 17.

The short video starts by looking back at past editions of the annual football video game before cutting to enticing clips of cover stars Anthony Martial, Eden Hazard, Marco Reus and James Rodriguez.

The trailer then concludes by teasing the inclusion of Frostbite, the game engine used on other EA titles, including Battlefield and Mirror's Edge Catalyst.

FIFA 17 is scheduled to be released on September 27 in North America and on September 29 worldwide, with a full reveal trailer promised on June 12.
