Nikola Maksimovic Scores Hilarious Own Goal in Serbia's Friendly vs. Cyprus

To be fair, Nikola Maksimovic's finish was wonderfully placed. 

And Serbia still defeated Cyprus 2-1 in their Wednesday friendly, ultimately sparing Maksimovic's blushes. 

The highlight, though... 

The Torino man played what appeared to be a routine pass back to his goalkeeper, Damir Kahriman, but Kahriman wasn't in position to receive it and instead watched the ball trickle past him into the far post. 

Clean finish.

Maksimovic's pass now joins the ranks of beautiful but unfortunate back passes turned own goals.
