Liverpool fans clashed with Sevilla supporters in the buildup to the UEFA Europa League final at St Jakob-Park on Wednesday.

BBC 5 live Sport provided some close-up photographs of the incident:
Per Metro's Sam Kearns, the 30,000-seater stadium "appeared to be dominated by Liverpool fans" with various sections of the stadium seeming to hold unsegregated fans of both clubs.
BBC Sport's Phil McNulty reported the police involvement following the clash:
The relatively small capacity of the Basel stadium had been criticised ahead of the showpiece match, with each club having been allocated only around 10,000 tickets each, per BBC Sport.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp retracted comments encouraging ticketless Reds fans to travel to Basel, citing the "chaos" it could cause, per Goal's Jamie Smith.
However, there was no preventing the early troubles at the ground ahead of a huge match for both clubs.
