James Passes Jordan on All-Time Playoff Wins List with Victory No. 120

Bleacher Report MilestonesMay 3, 2016

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James earned the 120th playoff victory of his career in Monday's Game 1 against the Atlanta Hawks, passing Michael Jordan (119) on the NBA's all-time playoff wins list, per NBA.com on Twitter.

Coming out of a first-round sweep of the Detroit Pistons, a well-rested Cavs squad had its hands full Monday night, as the Hawks took an 88-87 lead with 4:28 remaining after trailing throughout the majority of the contest.

Cleveland outscored Atlanta 17-5 from that point on to earn a 104-93 victory that was a bit more difficult than the final score would seem to indicate.

Per usual, James was the leading force, tallying a team-high mark in points (25) and game-high mark in assists (nine), along with seven rebounds, five steals, a block and four turnovers. He only got to the free-throw line one time, but he more than made up for it by sinking 11 of his 21 field-goal attempts, including two of his four three-point tries.

Now sporting a 120-63 record in 183 career playoff games, the 31-year-old superstar seems destined to break Derek Fisher's record of 259 postseason appearances, though it's possible San Antonio Spurs center Tim Duncan (247) will push the standard a bit higher.

Of course, as many Twitter users were quick to point out, James has only won two NBA championships, whereas Jordan (six), Duncan (five) and Fisher (five) each have at least five.
