A knee injury sidelined Stephen Curry for the second half, but the Golden State Warriors still smacked the Houston Rockets 121-94 to grab a 3-1 series lead Sunday.
Curry slipped on a wet spot moments before the break, and he didn't return to the game. Instead, three players and a single-game NBA playoff record 21 three-pointers carried the Dubs.
Klay Thompson scored 23 points, hitting seven shots from distance. Andre Iguodala netted 22 points, while Draymond Green notched 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
The game was tied at 56 through two quarters, but Golden State ripped off a 65-38 advantage in the second half, burying a Houston team that struggled from beyond the arc. The Rockets converted just five of their 27 long-range attempts.
Dwight Howard tallied 19 points and 15 rebounds, but Houston's defense—especially in transition—was terrible in the third and fourth quarters. And the Warriors took full advantage.
