Steven Gerrard Scores Classy Goal for LA Galaxy Against Real Salt Lake

Steven Gerrard netted his first goal of the season in the Los Angeles Galaxy's 5-2 win over Real Salt Lake at the StubHub Center in California on Saturday.

A calf injury had restricted Gerrard's involvement in the campaign prior to Saturday's game, but his 91st-minute goal capped off an entertaining win that moved the Galaxy up to third in MLS' Western Conference.

With the away side throwing men forward as they attempted to split the two-goal deficit, a swift Galaxy counter-attack allowed Gerrard to throw three defenders with a classy feint before placing a clinical finish beyond the goalkeeper.

Liverpool fans have seen that celebration a few times before—and Galaxy fans will probably see it a few more times yet.
