In what was a very physical game, the Boston Celtics (No. 5) defended their home court in a 111-103 victory over the Atlanta Hawks (No. 4), Friday at the TD Garden. Atlanta now leads the series, 2-1.

Boston was led by Isaiah Thomas, who scored a career-high 42 points on 12-24 shooting. Evan Turner added 17 points and seven assists.

Atlanta, meanwhile, was led by Jeff Teague, who scored 23 points on 7-of-17 shooting. Kent Bazemore and Dennis Schroeder each had 20.
