Steven Adams' putback at the buzzer was mere tenths of a second too late, and the Oklahoma City Thunder fell to the Dallas Mavericks 85-84.

Raymond Felton tallied 21 points and 11 rebounds to help Dallas even the first-round Western Conference series at one game apiece. His stellar night was a deciding factor, but the bigger story was on the other end of the court.

Despite scoring a team-best 21, Kevin Durant finished the loss 7-of-33 from the floor, including a 2-of-11 mark beyond the arc. Durant also committed seven turnovers.

Overall, the Mavericks limited OKC to a 33.7 percent clip—its worst outing all season. Russell Westbrook managed 19 points on 8-of-22 shooting.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 17 points, while Deron Williams added 13 and Salah Mejri chipped in 12 more.
