The Atlanta Hawks captured a 102-101 win over the Boston Celtics at Philips Arena on Saturday night to take a 1-0 lead in the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.
Al Horford double-doubled with 24 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Hawks, while Jeff Teague and Kent Bazemore poured in 23 points apiece.
Isaiah Thomas led all Boston scorers with 27 points, and Marcus Smart came up with 15 big points off the bench as the Celtics fell just short.
