David KenyonApr 12, 2016

Spurs 102, Thunder 98—Final (OT)

The San Antonio Spurs survived a five-round fight from the short-handed Oklahoma City Thunder, earning a 102-98 victory on Tuesday at the AT&T Center.

Kawhi Leonard paced San Antonio (66-15) with 26 points, six of which came in overtime. Tony Parker added 20 points, while Tim Duncan chipped in 12 points and nine rebounds against an OKC team that was without Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka.

But the Spurs' most important player was an unlikely one.

Boban Marjanovic tallied nine points, eight boards, two blocks and a team-best plus-13 rating. The 7'3" center helped reverse San Antonio's performance in the paint.

For most of the night, Enes Kanter and Steven Adams controlled the glass. The Thunder, who finished the season 55-27, grabbed 18 offensive rebounds and scored 21 second-chance points.

Kanter, Adams, Cameron Payne and Dion Waiters each netted 17 for Oklahoma City, but San Antonio held off a valiant effort from the Thunder reserves.
